Dr. Meredith Wills
Dr. Meredith Wills is a board-certified anesthesiologist practicing in Augusta, Georgia. She graduated with honors from the University of Alabama (ROLL TIDE!) with a degree in biochemistry and a minor in biology. She attended medical school at Lincoln – Memorial University DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine. Upon completion of medical school, she became a commissioned officer in the US Army, where she trained at both Fort Eisenhower and Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
Following her time in the army, Dr. Wills joined a private group in Augusta, where she continued to practice anesthesiology. However, during pre-surgery consultations, she noticed a concerning trend: patients were becoming increasingly ill at younger ages. This alarming pattern prompted Dr. Wills to rethink the sufficiency of western medicine alone in addressing the whole patient’s needs.
This realization led to the creation of Re:Treat Wellness Concierge. Drawing on her osteopathic roots in holistic medicine, Dr. Wills began researching complimentary modalities that offered low risk but high reward when used alongside western medicine. Acupuncture repeatedly emerged in her research as a beneficial practice. Subsequently, she enrolled in a structural acupuncture course to become a certified medical acupuncturist.
Dr. Wills’ thirst for learning is insatiable, and she remains committed to bringing the best health and wellness technology to Augusta.
